The Boss drops the banjo and picks up the E Street Band

The video for Bruce Springsteen's "Radio Nowhere" has been released and shows him rocking out with the E Street Band for the first time in twenty years. It's not necessarily the most impressive song in the Springsteen canon, but after two decades of acoustic albums, non E Street Band rock discs and fiddles this track seems irresistable. Granted, their official reunion happened on 2002's The Rising but for the most part that album didn't rock. Having 9/11 (whose date is coming soon) as the theme of that album eliminated much of the rocking.

All the members get screen time and the Big Man (Clarence Clemons) gets to unleash his first memorable sax solo since..."You're A Friend Of Mine" with Jackson Browne? At any rate, "Radio Nowhere" does exactly what it's supposed to do: get me pumped up to get Magic (2007) once it hits the streets. After going all rural and losing my interest on We Shall Overcome (2006) Springsteen's return to rock is much needed and welcomed.
